The Jubitz Rotary Peace Initiative seeks to enable Rotary International to reach its full potential for peacebuilding. Our work supports Rotary International’s institutional objectives for peace, as well as the work of Rotary Peace Fellows, Rotary clubs, and individual Rotarian projects that demonstrate a real and tangible impact on their communities.
Our work is guided by Rotary’s long history and great potential for peacebuilding. We strive to enhance existing Rotary peace projects as well as foster innovation within the Rotary peace community to take Rotary peacebuilding to new heights.
To support the objectives above, the Jubitz Rotary Peace Initiative has engaged in the following efforts:
The Rotary-Carter School Collaboration for Peace: This collaboration seeks to enhance the impact and effectiveness of Rotary peacebuilding projects at the club and district levels by pairing them with Carter School faculty and staff.
Partnership with the Rotary Peace Fellow Alumni Association: We are engaged in an active partnership with the Association to provide guidance towards expedited organizational development and to co-implement the 2026 Peace Park in Taipei.
Rotary Peace Park at the House of Friendship: The Peace Park is a 2,500 sq feet celebration of Rotary peace at the 2023, 2024 and 2025 Rotary International Conventions. The Peace Park:
- Raises the profile of Rotary Peace
- Provides a community space for peace minded Rotarians
